zine 1 | her zine on haiti was written for a situated technologies seminar in graduate school at university at buffalo in fall 2023. it features some of haiti’s cultural and religious histories. touching on french colonialism and us imperalism. researched through books and arcticles as well as interviews with family members

zine 2 | inspired by Janelle Monae and Fritz Lang’s respective “Metropolis”, this zine was written for a situated technologies seminar in graduate school at university at buffalo in spring 2024. Plot: An architecture student creates a robot named Celeste and abandons her. Bored and lonely, Celeste strikes out to the library to learn about her history. Joice Heth, Maria from Lang’s Metropolis, and Cindi Mayweather #57821 all aide Celeste in her self discovery
